Most cats would be salivating over these balls of yarn. My cat is so lazy that I would have to throw her on top of them to get a reaction out of her. She's thirteen and I cross my fingers that I still have her for several more years. So....she's lazy, but cute.

Yes, I miss my cats too. Too old to heal of ailments 18 and 19 years old. Haven't had a pet since. Thinking of fostering but then they will be gone too. Can't afford their medical care so have to foster instead. Sigh.
We had a cat (ages ago) who would eat the icicles off of the Christmas tree. Never could get that cat to stop doing it.

I had two cats, but one of the cats ate the small beads off of my Christmas tree skirt. I was worried for days that she would get sick, but the little darling (devil) must have passed them as she was okay. Never used icicles because I knew they would think it was a new toy, but they still enjoyed knocking the ornaments off of the lower branches. Lost the twelve year old several months ago, and miss her like crazy.

My Callie was my best friend and I cried for weeks when I had to put her down. Miss her to this day. I'm also sorry you lost your two best fur friends too Coravee.

Our fur-babies are such a huge part of our lives and our families...it's so hard when we lose them.
Beautiful colors! I wish now that I had kept up with the crocheting. My mom was teaching me how and then on Christmas 1985, she was run down and killed by a drunk driver. I still cannot even pick up crochet hooks or yarn. I hope this will pass. Blessings to all of you lovely people!
Oh, my dear friend, I understand your feelings personally and pray that you are at peace with her memory soon. I can't sing or hear "How Great Thou Art" without tearing. It was my father's favorite hymn and was sung at his funeral.

Thank you all for your love and support. I know my mom is in a great place. On the night she was killed I could feel her zipping through the backyard of her home and just having a great time. I just have to let her leaving go and continue trying to crochet! Thanks to all of you once again.

My Mom crocheted afghans for her family members. It helped her pass the time while she tended her business. When she finally went to assisted living, she did smaller baby blankets for the staff who were pregnant.
I'm knitting like crazy as I'm doing stuff for a bazaar that's next Wednesday. Needed a break so did this instead! Haven't been on a while, but doing jigsaw puzzles elsewhere. Hope you're all doing well. Take care and God bless you all.
