Really? How about foot cramps? My legs do okay but I sometimes wake up with horrific foot cramps. I have to stamp my feet to stop them.

I'll have to remember that, dbnc2. I'm beginning to get cramps in my legs and sometimes my hands. I know I have to keep the electrolytes at a good level.

Try 50mm of tonic water just before retiring up the wooden hill.

Or, get some 300mg Quinine tablets from your doc or chemist.

It's the quinine that does the trick - I very rarely get cramp at night, now. But don't overdo it - or your lips might start to crack.

I have been drinking tonic water ever since I got trench mouth from taking a prescription of antibiotics. I do miss a day now and then. Maybe that's the problem. So anyway, it's good for curing trench mouth too.
Thanks drawback.

Yep - That's correct my mom used to wake up in the middle of the night with really bad cramps in her legs. My bil suggested she take those pills.

Oh dear, back into silly mode are we.

Keep it up, anything that makes people smile (even if they groan at the same time) is worth its weight in gold

We used mustard seeds when I used to decorate one of the floats for the Rose Parade on Jan. 1. They are one of the smaller seeds used.

My elder daughter worked on floats for 5 years that displayed in the Rose Parade for the City of Torrance. I think onion seeds were one of the seeds she used. It's amazing how beautiful the floats turn out with flowers and seeds.

I worked on the City of Torrance also. I might have worked with her. I might know her. I haven't worked for the past 4 years but worked for about 10 years before I had to stop. Standing or sitting that long became to hard on my back.

Her name is Christa Flint. The last float on which she worked was the one with the Monarch butterflies. She only did 5 years, but I think the City took 3 trophies. Blessings!

Unfortunately, I don't recognise that name but I worked a couple of floats with Monarch butterflies. I probably worked with her. I did butterflies on all the floats that had them. I think there were two. My name is Peggy Diaz and I road the float with the Duesenberg car, I was one of the hikers sitting at the front of the float.

A lot of people worked on floats, Peggy. It's unlikely that everyone became acquainted enough to remember everyone's name. Christa does have a Facebook page. Whether you'll remember her face is a remote possibility. She currently resides in Jacksonville, Florida, and has a one-year-old son named Aaron. Have a wonderful day!
