I used to hve a boss who entered her golden retriever in all the contests. She was aiming to win so she could get big bucks from breeding him. His name was Chevy. That's over thirty years ago. I think he finally did win some award that classified him as a breeding dog with a top price tag.

In the early 50s, our boxer, Melchristus Mellowman, won Best of Breed at Westminster. He was a true sweety.
