Very pretty! We don't get many butterflies here in the desert, but when I lived up North, there were a lot of them. We have a Botanical Museum here that has a butterfly exhibit for a couple of months a year. They have a very large area closed off outside where there are several species. You can walk around and enjoy them. As you leave, there's a little room where you have to check yourself and others for butterflies who have attached themselves to your clothing, so they won't get out of the exhibit. It's very pretty, and when my granddarlings were little that was one of their favorite places to be. The room is pretty humid.
That reminds me of the Desert Museum in Arizona. I loved going in the hummingbird "cage"! I was wearing a sweatshirt with lovely flowers on the front of it. A hummingbird took a liking to my flowers and hovered in front of it for about two minutes, attracting a lot of attention. Everyone was surprised that the bird was "fooled" by the flowers on the sweatshirt. But maybe she was just being polite, telling me my sweatshirt was just her style!

That cracked me up! The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is where they have the butterfly exhibit as well! lol I didn't know about the hummingbirds. I'll have to check into that. I live in Tucson.
Good morning to all. Where is everyone this morning? Can't believe I'm the first one to post. What a beautiful butterfly! There is such a variety of butterflies, it's amazing. We get a lot of butterflies here. I remember when we left Silicon Valley I couldn't remember the last time I saw one there, so I have learned to appreciate them more. Aussie how are you feeling now? You all take care and stay safe.
